Privacy Policy for School Staff

This policy is intended solely for teachers and other staff members in schools and municipalities using the EdAider service. Our processing of student personal data within the scope of the service is not covered by this policy but is instead governed by a separate data processing agreement (DPA) between us and the school’s data controller (i.e., where we act as processor). You are always welcome to contact us with general questions regarding our data protection practices.

EdAI Technologies AB

EdAI Technologies AB, reg. no. 559209-0871, Skattetorpsvägen 14, 174 62 Sundbyberg, is a Swedish company that provides a service for teachers and students. In this privacy policy, references to “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to EdAI Technologies AB.

Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and all other applicable laws and regulations.

No Processing of Special Category Data

Special category data includes information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, and personal data concerning health or sexual life. Health data may include, for example, records of sickness absence, pregnancy, or medical appointments.

We do not process any special category data as a data processor.

Where Your Data Is Processed

All processing of your personal data takes place within the European Union.

Third Parties with Access to Personal Data

We share your personal data with service providers who assist us in fulfilling the purposes described in the section “Purpose of Processing, Categories of Personal Data, and Duration of Processing.” These companies act as our data processors and are contractually bound to process your data confidentially and solely according to our instructions.
